Tallinn Design Festival Takes Over the City: Discover the Satellite Programme
From 28 September to 4 October, Tallinn Design Festival extends far beyond its main venue at Põhjala Factory. Throughout the festival week, design studios, showrooms, galleries, museums, creative hubs and shops across the city open their doors with exhibitions, presentations, talks, workshops and opportunities to meet designers.
The festival’s satellite programme invites visitors to explore Tallinn through design and discover places, creators and ideas beyond the main festival venue. Product design meets fashion, interiors, material innovation, circular design, art and business – from the legacy of Verner Panton and Bauhaus to new Estonian collaborations, material circularity and future workplaces. More than twenty venues and partners take part in the satellite programme.
What’s happening and when?

A number of exhibitions and pop-ups remain open throughout the festival week, including “Carb Cult” at Paper Mill, Reet Aus Studio’s “AUS.SHIRT. Shirt is a Choice”, the EAA fashion designers’ “MOEETENDUS” at Solaris, Verner Panton 100 at Intera, a special Panton collection at ELKE Mööbel, and displays by VIUU, Myceen and WolfBerry in Telliskivi.

Sunday, 4 October
11.00 – Open Footwear × Vivita Barefoot Footwear Workshop, VIVISTOP Telliskivi. Participants can design and make their own personalised pair of shoes from start to finish.
