"Polish Desing. The Essence"
Polish design stretching back to the late 30’, having undergone the revolution in the 50’ and 60’ is now exploding with it’s full exuberance. Stylish, functional and universal. Creative in addressing people’s needs at it’s best. Remaining sensorial and local with respect to the cultural heritage, now striving to break the borders in pursuit of worldwide acceptance.
The exhibition entitled “Design in Poland. The essence” is trying to bring to the viewers a better understanding of where Polish design is originated from and also give some examples of the trends that the contemporary designers wish to pursue.
Opening of the exposition prepared by the Institute of Industrial Design from Warsaw takes place on Friday, 25th September 2009 15.00 in Jahulao Aatrium, Rotermanni tn 8, Tallinn, followed by a small reception prepared by the Polish Embassy in Tallinn.
